Devoted fans of the pop star are demanding that a person who breached a fence and touched the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A circulating video shows the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing photographers and lunging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a yellow carpet flanked by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being detained", though court documents revealed that he was due to appear on the next day. It is unknown if he was charged.

Record of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram profile features videos of him disrupting other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney concert in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the area last year.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is clearly a punishable act," wrote an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user remarked.

Fans Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Several supporters accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote one more message on Instagram.

Some supporters also faulted security officers at the premiere for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals called for digital services to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In videos circulating online, Grande seemed startled when she was approached by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Numerous of attendees had assembled in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The film, to be launched on November 21, is the second of a two-part adaptation of the acclaimed theatrical musical Wicked, which centers on the unlikely friendship between two contrasting witches.

The musical itself is a spin-off of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a light pink glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a black tube gown embroidered with roses.

They were joined by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful movie of 2024 in the UK, and received a dozen Academy Award nods, earning two for best costume and set decoration.
